On 6 July 2026, we will launch a new version of the Medical Devices and Appliances Database (EMDDB). In connection with this, the State Agency of Medicines will conduct two web-based training sessions (29.06 and 30.06) on the use of the new version of the database.

These training sessions will cover the use of the new version of the database by practically going through all the steps required for registering a company and linking a user to a company, notifying of the distribution of a device and amending an existing entry, and notifying of the cessation of distribution and/or manufacturing of a device. Applications related to the Estonian Health Insurance Fund will not be covered during these initial trainings, but additional information will be given separately at a later stage.
